About Lain

Lain McCanless walked away from a traditional career path because he realized the most important work of his life had nothing to do with a job title. He is a speaker, author, and co-founder of Rally Your Family, a movement helping families discover and live out their identity through shared values, a written manifesto, and a visual family crest.

For years he led marketing and brand strategy at Martin Dingman, building relationships with high-net-worth clients and organizations across the country. But in early 2026 he made the jump, leaving the corporate world to go all in on marriage, family, people, and helping others become who God is calling them to be.

He and his wife Aspyn live in the Branson, Missouri area with their boys Shepherd and Banner Banks. He is a regular speaker at Woodland Hills Family Church, where he also leads in men's ministry. He is currently writing his first book, FatherGood.
